Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping young learners grow through curiosity and play? The Goddard School of Oxford is seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant GSRP Teacher to join our preschool team!
About the Role
As an Assistant GSRP Teacher, youll work alongside the Lead GSRP Teacher to support a high-quality preschool program that nurtures the whole child. Youll help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment aligned with GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) standards and the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead GSRP Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom routines
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Assist with documentation, assessment, and classroom organization
- Promote social-emotional learning, curiosity, and independence through hands-on experiences
- Ensure compliance with GSRP and licensing standards for safety, supervision, and program quality
Qualifications
- Must meet GSRP Assistant Teacher requirements:
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Bachelors preferred)
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Bachelors preferred)
- Experience working with preschool-age children in a structured learning environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to supporting every childs success
