Olson Funeral and Cremation Service is seeking a Funeral Director Intern who is passionate about serving families with care and compassion. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and prepare for a rewarding career as a licensed funeral director.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist licensed directors in arranging and conducting funeral and memorial services.
  • Support with preparation of the deceased, including transfers, embalming, dressing, and cosmetology.
  • Provide exceptional service and comfort to families during all phases of care.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and represent Olson Funeral and Cremation Service within the community.

Requirements

  • Degree from Accredited Mortuary Science Program plus additional college credits as required in the applicable state. In Minnesota you must have a Bachelors degree (or credit equivalent).
  • Successful completion of the National Board Examination.
  • Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
