Commercial Litigation Attorney - Salt Lake City, UT
A long-established Salt Lake City law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its respected litigation practice. The firm represents businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in complex commercial disputes, including contract litigation, business torts, real estate conflicts, professional liability, and general civil litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters within a collaborative, well-resourced team.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Utah Bar or eligibility for prompt admission
- 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, hearings, and managing discovery
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases with autonomy while collaborating effectively with a litigation team
- Strong communication skills and commitment to client service
- Experience in real estate litigation, financial services litigation, or complex civil disputes is a plus
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters for corporate, institutional, and individual clients
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Participate in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Develop litigation strategies and provide proactive counsel to clients
- Manage case deadlines and maintain organized, accurate files
- Collaborate with partners and associates on complex, high-value matters
