Job DescriptionJob Title: Direct Support Professional
Job Requirement: DSP I and/or II training, cleared fingerprints, physical and TB test, CPR and 1st Aid
Job Description: As a DSP I or II you are providing direct care to all residents. This can include but isn’t limited to:Supervision or hands on assistance with hygiene: teeth brushing, hair washing, bathing, dressing, nail careScreen residents, visitors and staff as required for COVID 19. Notify owner or Medical Coordinator if individual is symptomatic. Work with residents to follow COVID 19 safety procedures. Medication assistance/dispensing, packing medicationTransporting residents in company cars as assignedProviding 1st aid and summoning medical attentionLaundry, housekeeping/cleaningProfessional interactions with resident jobs/programs and families Meal ServiceTidying of resident’s personal space and belongingsProviding direct care to and engaging with residents in a respectful, caring manner at all timesScheduling/canceling transportationCompleting assigned training as directed by your supervisor by required deadlineOther duties as requested by your supervisor.
