What You'll Do
- Drive Major Victories: Draft persuasive motions, oppositions, appellate briefs, and legal memoranda in wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage & hour cases.
- Shape Case Law: Take the lead on dispositive motions—including summary judgment and demurrers—that set precedent.
- Be the Strategic Engine: Provide advanced legal research and guidance to strengthen trial team strategies.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with top trial attorneys to craft arguments, refine evidence, and outmaneuver defense teams.
- Strengthen Case Fundamentals: Elevate discovery responses and strategies to maximize leverage.
- Influence Settlements: Contribute to mediation and settlement strategies that achieve the best outcomes for clients.
What You Bring
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership
- 4+ years of law and motion work with strong employment law litigation experience
- Proven excellence in legal research, analysis, and writing (writing sample required)
- Mastery of California and federal court rules and procedures
- Ability to independently drive complex projects in fast-moving litigation
- Passion for social justice and advocacy for employees
