Primary Purpose:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Serves as instructional teaching assistant to a regular education classroom.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Major Responsibilities:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Assist teacher in one-to-one or small group instruction.</li>
<li>Assist in maintenance of structured classroom routine</li>
<li>Perform program-related data-keeping tasks</li>
<li>Operate duplicating, laminating, and audio-visual equipment</li>
<li>Assist teacher in providing a behavior management program which emphasizes positive reinforcement</li>
<li>Assist with extracurricular activities and similar events</li>
<li>Help keep classroom orderly and attractive</li>
<li>Decorate bulletin boards</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by the teacher, lead teacher, and/or principal</li>
</ul>
GRANT FUNDED: The salary for this position is paid with grant funds. Grant funded positions are supplemental and therefore subject to grant funds.
