This is an in-person Mathematics Tutor - 3rd - 8th. The Mathematics Tutor will work with students one-on-one, in small and whole groups, providing instruction, feedback, and knowledge of middle school and algebra concepts. The tutor will assess student needs, progress monitor, and help improve academic performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's /associate's degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- Strong technology skills; must have the ability to work with various educational platforms
- Proven expertise in tutoring; high impact and engaging
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Availability to work 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20 per hour
