HVAC Instructor – Commercial Construction (Full-Time, Onsite, Contract to hire | Indianapolis, IN)
Pay: $75,000 – $110,000 per year

About the Role
As a Commercial HVAC Instructor with our National Training Division, you’ll guide technicians and apprentices through technical training in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You’ll combine real-world experience with structured instruction to build the skills of the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training in HVAC installation, service, commissioning, and system design
- Teach and demonstrate OSHA safety standards, code compliance, and best practices
- Assist with NCCER curriculum delivery, testing, and evaluation
- Collaborate with national training leaders to improve training consistency and quality
- Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Mentor students and foster a culture of craftsmanship, professionalism, and teamwork
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- Journeyman or Master HVAC License strongly preferred
- NCCER Instructor Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
- A passion for training, workforce development, and continuous learning
- Commitment to safety and excellence in HVAC instruction
