Job Description

Position: A/C Heating Technician

We are seeking a skilled A/C Heating Technician with a strong background in commercial and light commercial service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, experienced, and capable of performing a wide range of HVAC service tasks.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/light commercial HVAC service
Proficient in troubleshooting:
- Electrical systems
- Gas systems
- Heat pumps
- Reading schematics
Refrigeration experience is a plus
Must have:
- All necessary hand tools
- A clean DMV record

Job Responsibilities:

Start-up of all installed units, including:
- Chillers
- Rooftop units
- Swamp coolers
Routine maintenance for service contracts:
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly schedules
- Filter change-outs, belt replacements, cooler pad changes
- Checking for leaks and system efficiency
Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment using appropriate tools and testing procedures
Install, relocate, and program thermostats
- Assist tenants in understanding and operating equipment
Set dampers and balance airflow according to engineered plans using electronic equipment
Test electrical circuits and components:
- Resistance
- Amp draw
- Other standard measurements
