The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of an Oil and Gas compressor station construction project. Serving as a firewatch, the individual will monitor the site for any potential hazards and ensure all safety protocols are followed. The Technician will also be responsible for signing people in and out of the job site, requiring keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the safety of the Oil and Gas compressor station construction site.
- Serve as a firewatch to ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Sign personnel in and out of the job site.
- Pay attention to detail to identify and report potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with the team to maintain safety standards.
Essential Skills
- Experience in overseeing and maintaining safety at the job site.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team.
- Attention to detail in monitoring site safety.
- Proficiency with reporting tools and spotter duties.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior construction experience.
- Experience with firewatch and general labor tasks.

Work Environment
The Technician will be working at an Oil and Gas compressor station alongside a blue-collar team. The role requires commitment to working at least 6 days per week, with 10-hour days, in a physically demanding environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Heidelberg, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
