Job DescriptionConstruction superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial and educational projects. This role is with a well-established general contractor known for delivering high-quality construction management services across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and community facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment delivery.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with building codes.
- Conduct site inspections, maintain daily logs, and resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate progress with project managers, architects, and clients.
Preferred Experience:
- K-12 school construction (additions, remodels, and ground-up projects).
- Familiarity with complex scheduling and phased construction in occupied facilities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage schedules.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
