We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join a team located in Brooklyn Park, MN. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with the public, this position could be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact, offering a detail-oriented and welcoming experience for visitors.
• Guide guests to their appropriate destinations and provide accurate information about city services and functions.
• Handle routine inquiries and escalate complex or sensitive concerns to the appropriate staff for resolution.
• Process utility bill payments received through the drop box or in person.
• Coordinate scheduling for conference rooms and public appointments while maintaining lobby screens with updated city information.
• Assist with mailroom operations, including handling equipment and processing mail.
• Support city departments with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attentiveness in all interactions and duties.
• Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in a government or administrative setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and inbound call management.
• Basic administrative skills, including scheduling and payment processing.
• Proficiency in operating office equipment and mailroom tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
