What You’ll Do

Perform full-service grooms (baths, brush-outs/de-sheds, breed-standard and pet trims, scissoring/clipper work, nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, teeth brushing) with compassion and efficiency.

Consult with pet parents, capture notes/photos for style preferences, and recommend coat-care schedules and add-ons.

Maintain a spotless, safe grooming area; sanitize tools/tubs/tables between services; follow store safety standards (including required footwear and hygiene).

Handle dogs of various sizes/temperaments using low-stress techniques; collaborate with the GM/Front Desk to flag special handling notes.

Accurately clock in/out and follow timekeeping procedures; reliable, on-time attendance is a must.

Pitch in as a great teammate across the store as needed.
What You Bring

Experience: Prior professional grooming experience with a portfolio (photos welcome).

Technical skill: Comfort with breed cuts, scissoring, clipper safety, de-matting best practices, and low-stress handling.

Customer care: Clear, friendly communication and thoughtful consults that build repeat business.

Safety mindset: You practice good personal hygiene and comply with our uniform/non-slip shoe policy at all times.

Training readiness: You’ll complete our required online courses—Basic Dog Handling and Canine CPR/First Aid—upon hire.
Schedule & Pay

Status: Full-time or Part-time; weekends/peak days typical for grooming.

Compensation: Hourly + commission + tips (DOE). Overtime, when applicable, is paid per law and must be pre-approved.
