The Full Stack Developer is a part of the Information Technology department at Delta Group. This role plays a vital part in the Companys technological growth and client experience. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both client-side and server-side web applications, ensuring seamless integration between the user interface and back-end systems. They will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, scalable, and secure applications to create high digital solutions. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology including AI, cloud and modern development stacks - to transform how our clients manage risk and drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across backend and frontend systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) to model and optimize data.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or any STEM related degree preferred, equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Backend programming in one or more: C#, Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript
- Frontend development with HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Vue)
- Database experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server
- Strong desire and ability to learn quickly and solve problems creatively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud experience: AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred our stack is ~90% AWS)
- NoSQL platform experience (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of or experience with Linux OS administration
- Docker / containerization experience
- Exposure to Machine Learning / AI platforms
Physical Requirements:
This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Occasional remote work may be available, depending on organizational policy.

- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
