Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year serving an elementary school setting with a focus on grades 4 and 5. This contract role requires dedication to supporting the academic and social-emotional development of students through psychological assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting educational and psychological assessments for elementary students
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized plans
- Providing counseling and intervention strategies to support student success
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to special education eligibility determinations
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting support as needed
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Illinois School Psychologist license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development and educational psychology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work schedule:
- 36.25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
- Full school year contract from August 2025 through May 2026
