Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site personnel, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver high-quality multi-family, senior living, apartments, condos, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction operations and manage on-site personnel
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction
- Maintain communication with project managers and provide updates on project status
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction
- Strong knowledge of multi-family, senior living, apartments, condos, and mixed-use projects
- Experience with stick frame construction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
