Senior Product Manager, Software - Surgical Robotics | Hybrid (Bay Area)

This includes defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute product development, and ensuring successful market adoption.

What Your Role Will Involve:

Product Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the software portfolio, aligning with overall vision.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.


Product Management:

  • Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch support.
  • Define product requirements and collaborate with engineering, design, and clinical teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Contribute to User Interface development by bringing in the Voice of Customer insights, and oversee the development to ensure intuitive, user-friendly design.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers (e.g. surgeons).

Market Launch and Adoption:

  • Develop comprehensive launch plans, in collaboration with other commercial support teams.
  • Support the development of training materials, clinical documentation, and educational resources for internal teams and customers.


Must have experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience of software-based product management in the medical device industry
  • Comfort with various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
