NDM Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Manager of Entertainment Technical Services to lead the design, programming, and execution of professional-grade audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems across live events, entertainment venues, and special projects. This hands-on leadership role includes serving as Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer (A1) for internal performances and select client or tenant events. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in live event production, A/V systems integration, and technical team management, ensuring consistent, high-quality results that align with our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio, lighting, and video systems for live events.
  • Supervise technical crews during installation, operation, and breakdown of A/V equipment and staging.
  • Serve as Audio Engineer (A1) for day-to-day operations and events.
  • Manage and maintain digital and analog audio consoles, including Midas M32 and Behringer X32/X12/X16.
  • Coordinate wireless microphone and IEM frequencies for optimal performance.
  • Configure and optimize back-of-house audio systems, including speaker and line arrays.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and brand consistency across all technical operations.
  • Collaborate with performers and talent to meet technical needs and schedules.
  • Provide shift-based support for a variety of live performances and events.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in live event production, audio engineering, or A/V programming.
  • Proficiency with Midas M32, Behringer consoles, and audio editing software.
  • Strong knowledge of networked audio systems (Dante, QSYS, Crestron).
  • Experience with JBL, LEA, Klipsch, and QSC audio systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams of 4+ in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Live Event Production, or related field.
  • Experience supporting touring productions, client activations, or tenant events.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
