Position Summary:
Manage and instruct students in classroom setting:
- Adhere to curriculum and lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Follow instructions to achieve lesson goals.
- Take attendance and record in attendance system
- Comply with all school safety practices, policies, and regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for students.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, required.
Certification:
- Valid teacher or substitute teacher license required
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred
Qualities:
- Commitment to the holistic education of young women.
- Ability to foster and maintain respectful relationships with students, faculty and parents.
