Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exceptional opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education teacher to support students with extensive needs, including those in an autism special day class, for the 20252026 school year at an elementary school in the Roseville, CA area.
This full-time, direct hire position involves working closely with students requiring specialized instruction and support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual abilities and goals of each student.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students skills, learning styles, and specific needs to develop effective educational goals and strategies
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that outline customized goals, acmodations, and services
- Adapting or modifying general education curriculum to ensure accessibility and appropriateness for students with disabilities
- Collaborating with families, support staff, and other educators to foster student growth and development
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- California Special Education Credential (Education SpecialistMild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
- Experience working with students in special day classes, particularly with autism spectrum disorders
- Strong munication and organizational skills
