We are seeking a Spanish Teacher to join our team! You will educate students in Spanish at the elementary grade level in public or private schools. As a teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!Responsibilities:
- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
- Prepare any necessary learning materials
- Take attendance
- Grade assignments and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Report and document behavioral incidents
- Familiarize with after-class dismissal
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience teaching at the k-5th level is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in writing and speaking English and the foreign language being taught
- DOJ/FBI background check, fingerprint clearance, and negative TB Test prior to the start of class
- Energetic, organized, professional, creative, colorful and love children.
