Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist in Cleveland, Ohio, to join our team in a community-focused mental health facility. This is a Contract-to-permanent position requiring in-office work, where you will play a key role in patient interactions and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out processes at the front desk.
• Monitor daily clinic schedules and communicate missed appointments to staff.
• Verify and update patient demographic information in electronic health record systems.
• Coordinate with the Integrated Behavioral Health Service team to ensure accurate appointment tracking and services.
• Manage appointment flow and notify staff of delays to maintain efficient operations.
• Obtain and scan client documents such as photo identification and Medicaid cards into the system.
• Cross-train with the Front Desk Coordinator to provide coverage for Behavioral Health Intake Specialist as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive clinical information in compliance with established guidelines.
• Assist with internal and external mail distribution and other administrative tasks.
• Support additional projects and administrative duties as directed.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems, preferably Netsmart products.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Calm and patient demeanor, especially when dealing with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Experience in scheduling appointments and handling inbound calls.
• Knowledge of confidentiality protocols and procedures in a clinical setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with community mental health environments and related services.
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting, a TB test, and other pre-employment screenings.
