Job DescriptionLHH is actively seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registration Coordinator to join one of our top clients’ team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and registering customer orders and initiating the transportation and logistics process for household goods relocation services.Key Responsibilities:

Accurately register new orders and shipment details into internal systems in a timely manner.
-
Coordinate transportation and logistics processes according to contract and customer requirements.
-
Track shipments with carriers (e.g., steamship lines, trucking companies, railroads) and update systems accordingly.
-
Respond to incoming phone calls and emails, providing timely and professional support to customers.
-
Monitor communication channels, escalate urgent issues, and follow through to resolution.
-
Maintain detailed and accurate records in the company's proprietary systems.
-
Identify and correct data entry errors; research and resolve service exceptions.
-
Support general office duties such as typing, faxing, scanning, and document management.

Maintain department metrics (KPIs) and contribute to high customer satisfaction scores.

Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to leadership.

Update schedules, logs, and task trackers daily.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required
-
Associate degree or relevant college coursework preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or order processing required
-
Experience in domestic and/or international shipping preferred
Skills & Abilities:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook – basic level)

Accurate data entry skills (40+ WPM and 10-key by touch)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Familiarity with logistics, import/export, or household goods services is a plus
