A leader in the Industrial Construction Manufacturing sector delivering complex capital projects across commercial, heavy industrial, and process facilities. Primary Title: Senior Project Engineer • Location: United States (On-site)

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery across the project lifecycle—scope definition, engineering review, procurement support, field execution, and closeout—ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.
  • Develop, maintain and report project schedules and cost forecasts; drive corrective actions to hit milestones and financial targets.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and third-party contractors to resolve technical issues and enable continuous field progress.
  • Manage vendor selection, subcontracts, and change orders; ensure deliverables meet specification, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Perform engineering design reviews, constructability assessments, and site inspections; enforce quality control and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and present status to senior stakeholders while proactively mitigating project risks.

Skills Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) and 6+ years of hands-on project engineering experience in construction or industrial projects.
  • Proven track record managing on-site projects in the United States with strong schedule and budget ownership.
  • Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera for schedule control and common engineering software (AutoCAD/Revit).
  • Experience with vendor/contract management and change-order processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination and stakeholder reporting.
  • Eligible to work on-site in the United States and comfortable with regular field presence.

Preferred

  • PMP or PE certification, or Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and familiarity with local permitting, codes, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Background in heavy industrial, process, or infrastructure projects with proven site leadership.

Benefits Culture Highlights

  • On-site, mission-driven teams with clear career pathways and technical mentorship.
  • Competitive compensation, health benefits, and 401(k) options (details discussed during hiring process).
  • High emphasis on safety, professional development, and delivering measurable project outcomes.

This on-site Senior Project Engineer role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on engineering professional who thrives in fast-paced construction and industrial environments. If you deliver quality, drive projects to completion, and enjoy leading technical teams in the field, we want to hear from you.
