A leader in the Industrial Construction Manufacturing sector delivering complex capital projects across commercial, heavy industrial, and process facilities. We execute multi-discipline engineering, procurement, and construction programs on-site for clients across the United States—delivering projects on schedule, on budget, and with strong safety performance.
Primary Title: Senior Project Engineer • Location: United States (On-site)
Role Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across the project lifecycle—scope definition, engineering review, procurement support, field execution, and closeout—ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.
- Develop, maintain and report project schedules and cost forecasts; drive corrective actions to hit milestones and financial targets.
- Coordinate multi-discipline teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and third-party contractors to resolve technical issues and enable continuous field progress.
- Manage vendor selection, subcontracts, and change orders; ensure deliverables meet specification, quality, and safety requirements.
- Perform engineering design reviews, constructability assessments, and site inspections; enforce quality control and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and present status to senior stakeholders while proactively mitigating project risks.
Skills Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) and 6+ years of hands-on project engineering experience in construction or industrial projects.
- Proven track record managing on-site projects in the United States with strong schedule and budget ownership.
- Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera for schedule control and common engineering software (AutoCAD/Revit).
- Experience with vendor/contract management and change-order processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination and stakeholder reporting.
- Eligible to work on-site in the United States and comfortable with regular field presence.
Preferred
- PMP or PE certification, or Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and familiarity with local permitting, codes, and OSHA safety standards.
- Background in heavy industrial, process, or infrastructure projects with proven site leadership.
