Civil Construction Manager
We are seeking skilled Construction Managers at various levels to support upcoming Triangle opportunities. We are building a team of qualified professionals with extensive field experience overseeing diverse infrastructure construction projects. Successful candidates will be responsible for on-site management, contractor coordination, quality control, and ensuring projects meet specifications and safety standards.
Experience Areas (candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply):
- Marine and port facilities
- Transportation and roadway infrastructure
- Utility and stormwater systems
- Bridge and structural rehabilitation
- Environmental compliance and multi-agency coordination
Experience Levels and Requirements:
Junior Level (3+ years of experience):
- Field experience on infrastructure construction projects
- Assistance in daily site operations and contractor coordination
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA requirements
- Experience with construction documentation and daily reporting
- Basic understanding of project specifications and quality control procedures
Mid Level (8+ years of experience):
- Direct oversight of medium to large-scale construction operations
- Management of multiple contractors and subcontractors
- Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
- Experience with schedule management and progress tracking
- Proven ability to identify and resolve construction issues
- Proficiency in construction safety management and regulatory compliance
Senior Level (15+ years of experience):
- Comprehensive management of complex, multi-phase construction projects
- Expert-level technical knowledge across various infrastructure disciplines
- Strategic planning for construction logistics and sequencing
- Extensive experience managing large construction teams and budgets
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership in safety culture and risk mitigation
- Experience with claims management and dispute resolution
- Strong collaboration with owners, designers, and regulatory agencies
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required (minimum). Masters degree is a plus.
