Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
Mandatory Qualifications ("Must-Haves")
•7+ years of professional UX/UI experience in an enterprise or agency setting.
• Proven experience creating desktop, responsive web, and mobile applications.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and Figjam (specifically building and maintaining asset libraries).
• A strong portfolio demonstrating user interface design and design systems work.
• Experience working within and contributing to established design systems.
Preferred Qualifications ("Nice-to-Haves")
• Experience with design tokens in Figma.
• Familiarity with AG Grid and ZeroHeight.
• Experience managing a design backlog and sizing work.
• Financial services industry experience (a plus, but not required).
• Skills in storyboarding, data visualization, animation, or usability studies.
The designer will be the third member of the Design System design team. The primary focus is on detailed visual and interface design, component creation, and design token work for an enterprise-scale design system. This is a senior-level, individual contributor role that requires strong collaboration with both design and development teams to maintain and evolve the design system used across the company's products.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain, evolve, and create assets and pattern libraries in Figma.
• Design accessible, inclusive components and write supporting documentation.
• Implement designs based on the existing system and UX best practices.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Help establish consistent delivery processes and handoff patterns for the design system.
Soft Kills:
• Must be a self-driven, collaborative problem-solver with strong communication skills.
