Job Summary:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Division of Substace Abuse and Mental Health's initiatives by collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights and recommendations regarding the Overdose Response Center's real-time data. Your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in driving data-informed decision-making and enhancing the effectiveness to the Overdose Response Teams that are deployed throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources
- Perform statistical analyses and data modeling to uncover trends and patterns
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Recommend data-driven solutions to optimize program performance and service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in using data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to stakeholders
