Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being along with fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment, managing behavior and ensuring the safety of children, and assisting with classroom activities. The willingness to collaborate and learn from the lead teacher and other staff members is vital.
Duties
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Assist with effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive atmosphere.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain an organized classroom that reflects a welcoming learning environment.
Qualifications
* Minimum Educational Requirement: A high school diploma
*Preferred : Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Associate Degree or Certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
