Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical Equipment Construction & Projects
- Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous, positive communication and a commitment to a clean work environment. This includes a daily cleanup of job site, wiping down all equipment, and addressing any questions or concerns before notifying customers you are leaving the job site.
- Mobilizing & procuring equipment & materials
- Organizing tools and vehicles
- Job setup, clean up, and breakdown
- Rigging

- Setting and leveling capital equipment
- Plumbing

- Soldering, pro-press, threading black iron pipe, pvc, flex lines. etc
- Electrical
-
- 120v/240v/480v 1~/3~ connections
- Low voltage connections
- Performing startups, testing and troubleshooting
Installation Projects
- Reading equipment specifications and drawings
- Providing technical information to customers and contractors
- Continual learning of new devices, equipment, and codes
- Supervising subcontractors
Warehouse
- Receiving shipments
- Organizing
- Cleaning
- General labor
Miscellaneous Duties and Requirements
- Troubleshooting of boilers, washers, surgical lights, tables, and other equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Display a positive, courteous, and professional attitude when working with customers, contractors, management, and Fellow employees
- The ability to work with and around hospital personnel, sensitive medical equipment, and patients
- The ability to travel in and out of state
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT card
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated as well as other immunizations required by our clients
- Able to travel locally as well as overnight up to 75% of the time
Education and/or Experience: One to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicable skills are those which revolve around heating and ventilation systems such as boilers and furnaces. Plumbing, and electrical testing (multimeter experience) are types of skills needed to perform this work adequately.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, sitting, and twisting
- Considerable use of hands and tools required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and work in tight spaces
- Must be able to pass DOT Physicals
- Push/pull wheeled transporters and/or palletized product using up to approximately 50 lbs of force
- Position requires lifting 75 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 150 lbs. on an occasional basis
- May be subject to drug testing, safety training, and/or SOP training
