Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all field electrical tool install activities including power, grounding, and control infrastructure.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and Samsung representatives to ensure alignment on scope and schedule.
- Manage subcontractors and field personnel to ensure quality,scheduleand safety compliance.
- Oversee installation of electrical systems for semiconductor tools, including power distribution, controls, and grounding.
- Ensure adherence to Samsung’s cleanroom and high-tech facility standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, issues, and resolutions in the required Project management system.
- Support commissioning and turnover processes for electrical systems.
- Resolve field-level conflicts and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Ensure all work aligns with NEC, SEMI standards, Samsung site-specific standards, and internal QA/QC expectations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Extensive experience in tool install projects within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cleanroom protocols, and construction sequencing.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, construction documents, and tool vendor specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
Preferences:
- Experience working on Samsung projects or similar semiconductor clients.
- Familiarity with tool install protocols and commissioning procedures, vendor punch list processes, and turnover documentation.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, and occasionally climb ladders while utilizing fall protection. The ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds is required. Some tasks may require wearing a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for short periods (10-15 minutes) while working with chemicals. PPE made available includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and more.
