Established (25+ Years) Civil Engineering Firm Seeking PE Bridge Inspection Team Leader for Government Projects in Maryland

An established (25+ years) civil engineering consulting firm is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to lead bridge inspection efforts for government agencies, including MDOT. The position is based in Columbia, MD with hybrid flexibility, though field work will be required depending on project demands. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to manage a small bridge inspection team.

Offer:
Pay range: $70-$80 per hour, depending on experience
Full benefits package
Hybrid schedule with fieldwork as required

Qualifications:
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Qualified to perform MDOT bridge inspections
Proficiency in MicroStation, RISA, and Design Building
Experience working with government transportation agencies

Requirements:
Ability to lead and manage a bridge inspection team
Willingness to perform field inspections as dictated by project needs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Prior experience working with recruiters is a plus
