Title: Wrestling Coaches for Evening Community Involvement Program
Requirements: High School diploma required. USA wrestling coach certifications required. Meet health and physical requirements and be fingerprinted. Should possess excellent supervisory and people skills.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:
The person(s) employed shall have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing quality wrestling instruction on the premises during all classes; working with the Head Coach Instructor in establishing and enforcing rules and safety procedures; making frequent facility checks; assisting with the wrestling program participants of all ages. Position(s) is/are part of the evening Community Involvement Program, which is a self-supporting program. Position(s) will be continued as long as attendance and funding are maintained.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position of a wrestling coach requires stamina; lift and carry up to 35 lbs.; grasping, bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, kneeling, and squatting; pulling and pushing up to 75 lbs.; ascending and descending stairs; the ability to see well enough to instruct and observe behavior in the wrestling room; ability to speak well enough to be understood in a noisy environment. Requires irregular work hours (weekends and nights)
