Job DescriptionRipple Effect Consulting is looking for an Staff Level Geotechnical Engineer who can work in a leadership role within our client’s Geotechnical division in Colorado.
Description:
- Perform geotechnical investigations and analyses to assess subsurface and site conditions.
- Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration programs effectively.
- Perform field and laboratory investigations for geotechnical engineering and geological study projects.
- Analyze geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations, and prepare technical reports for review by senior geotechnical engineers.
- Provide direction to technical team during field inspection activities.
- Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time.
- Evaluate team performance and determine training needs to meet performance objectives.
- Perform basic office administration tasks when needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors of Science in Geotechnical, Geologic, or Civil Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of related work experience within the State of Utah.
- Proficient in soil mechanics.
- Able to creatively apply engineering principals to solve new problems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in teams.
