- Maintain cost and historical pricing records to improve estimating accuracy.
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop project execution plans, timelines, resource allocations, procurement schedules, and logistics plans.
- Coordinate equipment, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely project execution.
- Utilize digital tools to plan, track, and monitor work progress.
Project Execution & On-Site Management
- Supervise field operations to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, address on-site issues or scope changes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Budget Control & Reporting
- Track actual versus estimated costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Manage change orders and communicate impacts on cost or schedule to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, progress updates, field logs, equipment logs, and close-out records.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Present bids, clarify scope and assumptions, and support bid negotiations.
- Coordinate across internal teams to align pre-construction plans with field execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-civil, site-development, earthwork, utilities, concrete, paving, or similar civil construction projects.
