Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Operations Assistant to join our team. This position assists with day-to-day building tasks including framing, post setting, digging, material handling, and clean-up. The ideal candidate is hard-working, takes direction well, and is eager to learn the trade.
Responsibilities

Assist with construction and installation of decks and fences

Measure, cut, and handle lumber and building materials

Safely use basic carpentry and power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.)

Load and unload materials on job sites

Dig post holes and mix and pour concrete

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow jobsite safety guidelines and instructions from lead carpenter
Requirements

Must have reliable transportation to job sites

Ability to lift 80+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day

Basic experience using carpentry tools

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Punctual and dependable

Monday through Friday availability (occasional Saturdays optional/if needed)
Preferred (Not Required)

Previous experience in deck or fence construction

Familiarity with hand tools, table saws, circular saws, levels, and tape measures
