POSITION: Suite Hostess
PAY STATUS: Hourly - Non-exempt
FUNCTION: To work in the suite of the General Manager (AMS) and the of the owner of SMI

About the Position
Atlanta Motor Speedway is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to play an integral role in the race weekend activities at AMS. The ideal candidate will be available to work both Saturday and Sunday of race weekends. They must be a self-starter, organized and capable of adhering to a specific set of instructions. This position also requires that the individual provide a high level of customer service skills.
As a Suite Hostess, you will be responsible for ensuring that the General Manager’s and the owner of Speedway Motor Sports suite run smoothly, from initial planning, to execution and post-event clean-up. You will work closely with prestigious clients, vendors, and other staff to ensure that all aspects of Speedway events meet or exceed expectations. This role that requires a high level of flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the GM and SMI Owners suites on race weekend
- Ensure that the overall daily operations of the suite are happening
- Ensure guests are greeted, given the necessary credentials and that their needs are handled efficiently
- Supervise event staff within each suite
- Manage overall suite conditions, including the restrooms
- Ensure that the food and beverage provided are upkept in a timely manner
- Maintain strong relationships with guests and event staff
- Monitor overall suite conditions
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events.
- Ensure that proper clean-up is handled at the end of each event
