As a Behavior Coach at River Rock Academy, you will guide and mentor students by promoting positive decision-making, self-regulation, and social growth. You’ll provide structure and behavioral support while maintaining safety and collaboration across the school community.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in human services, behavioral science, or related field preferred
-
Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or emotional challenges
-
Knowledge of positive behavior interventions and crisis management techniques

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and consistent in high-stress situations
What You’ll Do

Mentor students to develop problem-solving, self-control, and decision-making skills

Monitor behavior, enforce expectations, and maintain student accountability

Respond to crisis situations using approved safety and de-escalation techniques

Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success

Document behavioral incidents and progress accurately and promptly
