Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time special education teaching opportunity in Clovis, NM serves K-12 students across resource classrooms, with a focus on both elementary and high school levels. The contract begins December 8, 2025, and concludes May 21, 2026, with four openings available for onsite work, providing a caseload supporting diverse learners in need of specialized academic assistance.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instruction and support to students in resource classrooms
- Collaborating with general education teachers to adapt curricula for individual needs
- Assisting students in achieving academic and social goals as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Tracking progress and maintaining detailed documentation
- Supporting students transitioning through different grade levels and educational settings
Qualifications:
- Active special education certification/license in New Mexico
- Experience working in K-12 special education settings preferred
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads, including elementary and high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
