Job DescriptionGIS Technician I *Local to Richmond, VA only please *This position is 100% onsite during the training period. After training is completed, it will transition to a hybrid schedule with 2 days/week onsite Description:
<ul>
<li>Works in GIS and database applications which model electric utility distribution systems and fiber optic cables. </li>
<li>Requires understanding of functional business processes as they relate to design, construction and operations and working understanding of data attributes that support these business processes. </li>
<li>Requires ability to create a connected model that replicates the electric distribution system. </li>
<li>Performs and manages QA/QC processes. </li>
<li>Must be available to work emergency and planned overtime.</li>
<li>Editing GIS to display Fiber cable, as it is installed</li>
</ul>
