Salesforce Technical Architect – Data Cloud
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Rate: Up to $120 an hour
Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep Data Cloud expertise to design, implement, and scale a modern Salesforce data architecture. This role will focus on data ingestion, identity resolution, integrations, and real-time activation across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and segmentation
- Design and oversee complex integration architectures using Salesforce APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven patterns
- Enable real-time data activation across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Define Salesforce data models, governance frameworks, and performance optimization strategies
- Lead hands-on development efforts using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced automation
- Establish and enforce technical standards, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment governance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and engineers
- Partner with data, marketing, and operations teams to align data strategy with business outcomes
Requirements
- 8+ years of Salesforce technical experience, including architect-level responsibilities
- Proven hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud
- Strong expertise in Apex architecture, integrations, and performance tuning
- Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and release management
- Strong understanding of data platforms, identity management, and analytics enablement
- Salesforce Technical Architect or advanced developer certifications preferred
