Summary
Join the pioneering force in EV battery manufacturing in the U.S. as we lead the future of
energy innovation. The Specialist II, Safety & Health will play a key role in promoting a
strong safety culture by anticipating, evaluating, and controlling workplace hazards. This
role ensures regulatory compliance and supports the sites EH&S programs, incident
investigations, ISO 45001 certification, and emergency preparedness.


Responsibilities
- Lead ISO 45001 certification and drive improvements across safety and health
programs (PSM, DHA, OSHA).
- Identify and mitigate hazards across plant operations and office areas.
- Conduct routine EH&S audits, daily line walks, and spot checks.
- Support incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments for equipment and ergonomics.
- Implement and coordinate emergency response training and fire brigade programs.
- Develop site-specific emergency plans and lead fire/evacuation drills.
- Build positive relationships with emergency responders and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant EH&S regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
- Knowledge of NFPA, IFC, OSHA, and local safety regulations.
- Experience with ISO 45001 management systems.
- Willingness to cross-train within the EH&S function.

- Korean-English bilingual preferred (not required)
