DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
- 2+ years of experience in technological support of agricultural equipment OR a related degree
- Proficiency in geospatial software
- Experience with related precision farming equipment and practices
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach
Certified crop advisor certification or equivalent is preferred. This full-time agriculture technology position requires flexibility, including extensive computer work, occasional large-group training sessions, and frequent travel to client sites during peak agricultural seasons.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A PRECISION AG CONSULTANT?
As a Precision Ag Consultant, you are the go-to expert in precision farming practices, collaborating closely with farmers and our team. You'll start your day analyzing agronomic data using advanced geospatial software to optimize planting strategies. Next, you'll visit client farms, ensuring seamless integration of precision tools and conducting hands-on training sessions. Your expertise will shine as you provide tailored recommendations, making a tangible impact on farm productivity and sustainability efforts. Throughout, you'll maintain strong client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor in the dynamic world of precision agriculture.
