SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing relationships and providing value-added services to the embedded organization and ensuring that the established service agreements are fulfilled. This role involves direct interaction with customers, including upper management, and a proactive approach to sales and inventory management. An ambassador of the company and a trusted face to our customers, while adhering to company values.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven work experience as a sales representative or account manager within industrial supply

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

Highly self-motivated and target-driven
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
Relationship management skills
Ability to adapt and deliver based on customer requirements.
Ability to drive a personal vehicle with insurance per company policy to visit customer sites
Must maintain a company insurable driving record

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Building and managing relationships with various customer contacts, including upper management
Working with the embedded organization using independent judgment on inventory requirements
Receiving, packing, stocking, and maintaining customer products
Quoting and sourcing inventory based on customer demand
Developing and maintaining continuous improvement and cost-saving programs
Maintain and grow existing customer base through consultative sales
Other duties assigned by the Sales Manager to ensure business success

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to efficiently use a computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse
Ability to communicate in English to locate, read, and report information
Lift, lower, and carry product up to 50 lbs. and regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch
