Looking for a Heavy Industrial Laborer in Northern, DE
As a Heavy Industrial Laborer, you'll be part of a team that restores old industrial machinery to working condition. This role demands grit, precision, and a strong work ethic as you engage in activities such as scraping off decades-old paint, re-sanding surfaces, and assisting with basic demolition.

- Up to $23/hour
Responsibilities
- Perform manual surface prep including scraping, grinding, and sanding of industrial equipment.
- Assist with basic demolition tasks to remove outdated or damaged components.
- Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, drills, impact wrenches, and sanders.
- Read and interpret tape measures and basic mechanical drawings.
- Support technicians in disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of machinery.
- Lift and move heavy parts and materials using hoists, dollies, or forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
- Take on a variety of tasks and projects as assigned—flexibility is key.
Essential Skills
- General labor experience in industrial settings.
- Experience in construction, production, or mechanical repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and follow instructions.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial labor or mechanical repair preferred.
- Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments.
- Forklift certification or heavy equipment experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
