Core responsibilities
- Child supervision and care: Providing daily care such as feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with personal hygiene. Ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Lesson planning and implementation: Developing and executing a daily schedule of activities, including educational games, stories, and crafts, to stimulate learning and development.
- Child development monitoring: Observing and documenting each child's progress, behavior, and development, and communicating any concerns or milestones to parents.
- Classroom management: Establishing and enforcing classroom rules and encouraging positive social behaviors and manners among the children.
- Communication: Maintaining open communication with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns.
- Health and safety: Adhering to all sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of the children.
