Job Title: Calibration Technician
Job Description
The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy of s pressure, temperature, time, force, torque, speed, flow, electric current, voltage, and resistance.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Use assigned calibration standards and procedures.
- Document all aspects of calibration events.
- Evaluate contracts and work orders to ensure all work can be properly completed.
- Assist customers with traceability or procedural questions in calibrations and resolve technical contract issues.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and laboratory safety/housekeeping programs and ensure team compliance.
- Quantify sources of measurement error and determine measurement uncertainty.
- Aid in the setup of processes and paperwork related to calibration.
- Complete administrative tasks related to incoming calibrations as necessary.
- Perform minor repairs as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- ISO experience.
- Hands-on calibration experience.
- Experience in metrology and calibration processes.
- Ability to resolve technical contract issues.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
