Job Title: Calibration Technician

Job Description

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy of s pressure, temperature, time, force, torque, speed, flow, electric current, voltage, and resistance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Use assigned calibration standards and procedures.
  • Document all aspects of calibration events.
  • Evaluate contracts and work orders to ensure all work can be properly completed.
  • Assist customers with traceability or procedural questions in calibrations and resolve technical contract issues.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and laboratory safety/housekeeping programs and ensure team compliance.
  • Quantify sources of measurement error and determine measurement uncertainty.
  • Aid in the setup of processes and paperwork related to calibration.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to incoming calibrations as necessary.
  • Perform minor repairs as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • ISO experience.
  • Hands-on calibration experience.
  • Experience in metrology and calibration processes.
  • Ability to resolve technical contract issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
