Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional school psychologist is needed to support middle school students in a K-12 educational setting. This full-time, on-site contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, providing psychological services to grades 6-12.
Location: Bear, Delaware (Middle School)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and learning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware school psychologist licensure required; please submit proof at application
- Prior school-based experience preferred, especially with middle school populations
- Strong knowledge of child development, educational psychology, and special education laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff
- Ability to work onsite full time, 37.5 hours per week
