Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support the well-being and academic success of students at an elementary school in Arvada, CO. This position is onsite, providing hands-on collaboration with educators, students, and families in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and support learning.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
Position Details:
- Location: Elementary school in Arvada, CO.
- Type: Contract assignment.
- Duration: December 8 through May 22.
- Full-time equivalent: 1.0 FTE.
- Caseload to be determined based on school needs.
- This is an onsite role to foster direct engagement with the school community.
