Position Summary

The Customer Concierge I is a customer-facing, fast-paced role focused on providing excellent coffee service and maintaining a welcoming lobby environment. The position involves barista-style coffee preparation, handling customer interactions, and supporting the front desk. This role requires a mix of hands-on responsibilities, including setting up and closing the coffee bar, restocking supplies, and ensuring the lobby is ready for customers. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coffee Bar Operations & Customer Service

  • Open and close the coffee bar daily, ensuring it is stocked with coffee, milk, and supplies, and ready for customers.
  • Prepare and serve coffee to customers and visitors while maintaining a professional, efficient, and friendly demeanor.
  • Monitor and restock coffee bar supplies throughout the day, including milk, coffee grounds, and cups/lids.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, ensuring it’s always presentable and functional.
  • Refill water stations in the lobby and meeting rooms, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere

Front Desk & Lobby Operations

  • Greet customers and visitors promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Bilingual team members play will help create a seamless experience for Spanish-speaking customers by providing translation support within the branch, as well as cross-functional translation assistance to departments such as the Teller line, New Accounts, and Lending as needed.
  • Open the front doors at 9:00 AM and ensure the lobby is tidy, including restocking the kids’ corner and removing any trash or clutter.
  • Manage the lobby merchandise, restocking items as needed and keeping the area clean and organized.
  • Accept legal documents and signed deliveries, recording necessary information and forwarding to appropriate departments.
  • Provide bank tours for customers as needed, maintaining professionalism without disrupting other duties.
  • Prepare the lobby for Monday morning meetings, ensuring the space is clean, organized, and ready for staff and/or monthly non-profit host.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Manage and organize the 1st Floor storage closet, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and accessible for all departments.
  • Track coffee bar inventory ensuring timely deliveries and proper stock levels.
  • Assist with planning and executing employee events, including backup for the administrative assistant role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Job Expectations

  • Spanish-speaking candidates will be given priority consideration.
  • Fast-paced, hands-on role requiring the ability to stand, walk, and move quickly between locations within the branch. Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including containers weighing up to 30 pounds (e.g., gallon-sized milk containers and coffee supplies).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy periods when managing both customer service and operational tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive experience for all customers.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

**Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
