Chemical Mixer / Forklift Driver (Experience required) - Weekly Pay

Gojob is hiring Chemical Mixer / Chemical Assembly for a leading logistics warehouse located in Berea, OH. The primary responsibility of this role is mixing dry and wet in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. Forklift certification is needed for this role. Strict adherence to safety and PPE protocols are a must. You must be willing to submit to a physical for the purposes of wearing a respirator.

Shift & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Sun-Thu, 9:30pm - 6:00am: $21/hr

Responsibilities:

• Accurately kit dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations
• Ensure all chemicals are correctly labeled and packaged
• Safely mix chemicals in precise quantities following detailed instructions and monitor the mixing process to ensure consistency and quality
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and fit testing for respirators
• Conduct lock out and tag out procedures
• Perform grounding and bonding tasks to prevent static discharge and routine inspections and tests on chemical batches
• Maintain accurate records of all kitting and mixing activities including weights and measures for all mixing use scales, balances, and other measuring equipment
• Safely operate a forklift to transport chemical containers and other materials
• Maintain comprehensive records of all chemical handling activities and prepare production reports as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in chemical handling is preferred.
• Proven experience in a chemical kitting or mixing role.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE usage, fit testing for respirators, lock out and tagout, and grounding and bonding.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail for calculating weights and measurements.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• Ability to lift and move containers of chemicals, which may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to wear PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements.
